Ravenpaw
Ravenpaw sat in the apprentices den next to Redpaw. Brambleswipe had told Bravestar about Darkshadow, and now they were talking with Nightwing about Ravenpaw's story. They were going to bring her in soon to talk to her.
Redpaw sighed next to her. "If you put the time we saw Darkshadow, the old cat, and Whitepaw together and when Darkshadow captured you into one big story, I feel like Darkshadow and Breeze are forcing. They caused this." He shook his head.
"They're trying to make Patchpaw die by telling Whitepaw to kill her." Ravenpaw whispered. "It can make sense..." her voice trailed off.
Brambleswipe came in and twitched his tail for Ravenpaw to come. "I'll see you later" she told Redpaw. As she walked into the clearing, cats stopped and turned their head to look at Ravenpaw and Brambleswipe. Would Bravestar tell the Clan? She hoped not. If the Clan knew, she'd be bugged with questions.. Darkshadow would probably get exileed.. and then a patrol will be sent out to kill Breeze. The Clan might even do something to Whitepaw for listening.
Bravestar was inside her den, sitting with Nightwing. Looking at Ravenpaw, she began to ask questions. "When did you first see Darkshadow, Breeze, and Whitepaw?"
"A few moons ago." Ravenpaw replied.
"What were they saying?"
"All they said was, 'Do what we say.'"
Bravestar kept asking Ravenpaw questions that she never thought she should ask herself before. After her final question, their meeting came to an end and the cats in the den began to put together everything and make sense to a few things that were left unknown.
"Why would ThunderClan cross the border?" Bravestar whispered, seeming to change the whole subject. Ravenpaw thought hard. She remembered hunting the shrew... hearing growls.. Patchpaw panting.. that was it! The words she had said. 'Whitepaw.. border.. ThunderClan.. chased.. me.' Patchpaw had whispered. Whitepaw must have been at the border.. possibly annoying ThunderClan? After a while they crossed to attack and he fled, leaving Patchpaw alone. Figuring out the puzzle, Ravenpaw told Bravestar everything that went through her mind.
"I shall wait until the right time to announce it to the Clan." Bravestar mewed. Padding outside, she went to see Redpaw. Redpaw was still in the den in his nest, where Ravenpaw had left him. Ravenpaw laid down next to him and told him what had happened in the meeting.
"It's strange," Redpaw had mewed. "But I will make sure that no cat will hurt you, no cat will shred your fur. I will always protect you."
