Warriors was originally created by Erin Hunter. Katie7Flubber created Warriors Returned, a book series similar to Erin Hunter's Warriors. All terms [ex. twoleg, ShadowClan, herbs, etc.] were created by Erin Hunter.

Lurking Dangers, Chapter 7

Ravenpaw

Ravenpaw was running through a forest, dodging hazards such as bramble bushes and spiky trees. Finally, she stopped and landed in a marsh. Then a white tom stepped out.
"Who are you?" Ravenpaw panted. "Where am I?"
"I'm no harm, little one. My name is Snowstar." he replied. "You are in StarClan. Welcome to Marshy Falls."
She was in StarClan! The treetops were so white, and the ground seemed spiritual. Then there was a pool, it's water shining in the light. Nothing blocked the moon. But then a question pained her.
     "Am I dead?" She asked.
"No, this is just a dream. An important dream." Snowstar mewed. "Trust who you can trust, but beware those who trust the ones they can't trust."
Ravenpaw had heard the prophecy before! When she was a kit, she had gone to Dusksky's warrior ceremony and heard this. Did Snowstar want her to not trust her own mentor?
"What do you mean?" Ravenpaw blurted out.
"I cannot tell you that, young one." Snowstar murmured. "Just remember to not trust the unwelcoming breeze and grassy darkness."
The snowy white figure began to fade in a swirl of snow. "No! Wait! Tell me more!" Ravenpaw burst into a run, leaping at the spirit. But Snowstar was gone.

•••

A paw jabbed her in the side, and Ravenpaw woke with a start. Dusksky stood over her. "Are you ready for your first battle training?" she asked. Ravenpaw nodded, and they padded into the clearing. Cats went in and out of dens. Cloudswipe was sharing a mouse with Blackwind, Dewsong hid from her kits in a bush, then pounced at them, giving them a scare but a laugh. But what stood out from the crowd of the cat's was Bravestar's voice. In the corner of the camp, Bravestaw cornered Darkshadow, hissing. "If you want to be a pure cat, don't lie to my Clan!" she blurted. Madly, she swiped, her claws sheathed, at his face. Darkshadow backed away with fright, and sprang away. Looking around the camp, with relief, Ravenpaw realized that no other cat saw this.
"Are you coming?" Dusksky called from the entrance. Ravenpaw raced off, eager for her training. When they got to the Training Hollow, Stoneclaw was there. "Stoneclaw will help with our training today." Dusksky mewed.
"Today's move is called the Belly Rake." Stoneclaw meowed. "It's useful for when you're being pinned. With your claws unsheathed, slice your back claws on the soft flesh of your opponent's belly. I'll pin you. Do the Belly Rake, but with your claws unsheathed, on me." he added.
Stoneclaw swiftly pinned her, and Ravenpaw pushed on his belly as he backed away. They practiced this move all day. Finally, they went back to camp. Ravenpaw decided to rest. Her shoulder hurt from when the ThunderClan tom clawed at it. Breeze probably didn't know the ways of a medicine cat and how herbs work. The plants weren't anything familiar, and they were just smeared into a mess, anyway. But she couldn't sleep. Ravenpaw kept thinking about her dream.
     Who exactly is Snowstar?
